huh there is also the fact that the whole thing started out of a dishonorable wish to sleep with one of the warrior's wife. This is then the guy who later on kills two young men for raping women. The whole movie goes on to show this guy's efforts to cover his deception and culminates on the only honorable act by the only honorable of the three at the time he honors their vow.

My summary was short therefore I put the words "Part of the Movie". Your facts are correct as well.

The movie I recently saw was called "The Warlords". The film was placed in the Qing Dynasty in China. Part of the movie was about three men who swore a "blood oath" with one another. Due to circumstances, at the end they ended up killing one another. There are ways I can use the film in my classroom. Due the movie's content, I can read a summary of the movie to my students.
The school year, my school is incorporating "The Six Pillars of Character". Under each pillar, it has a character which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. After reading the summary and telling my students why each man from the movie decided what they had to do that was best for their people, I can use the story and have them portray to the six pillars. For example, one of the movie, one of the main characters played by Jet Li, had his brother destroy two of his men for sexually assaulting women. I would have a discussion with my students about that part and ask which pillars of character it may go under during that time and why. Some may say fairness because the crime fits the punishment and some may say responsibility because the general had a responsibility.
Overall, it's a great film but I am not very fond of movies with a lot of blood.
