Where are the common core assessments for History teachers? That is the million dollar question that our department has been asking since last year. Ok, so we just went ahead and created our own assessments for both 7th and 8th graders. Here is one that we created for our World History teachers. There are several attachments.

1. Pop quiz powerpoint- this has an agenda and a quick quiz to help students focus on important information needed for the big test! (March 12)
2. Reading study guide questions powerpoint- students read chapter summaries and answer questions at the end to prepare for the big test!
3. Common Assessment- this is the big department test.
4. Writing rubric- this is what teachers used to grade the tests.
