I have been looking for resources on how to teach my students about Haiku. Your lesson looks great, I think it will be perfect for my students. Some of them are EL and all of them have Special Needs, which means I need to make modifications to their lessons. Thank you for the resources.

This isn't just a stapled collection of haiku!
Your students will have a blast choosing a Japanese pen name and illustrating their poetry in the Zenga style.
The final project becomes a keepsake to be treasured a lifetime.
