The China Family Adventure website is a website for children and their families. Teachers can also use it as a resource for lessons on teaching about China especially geared towards primary grade levels. This website provides facts about China and cultural information. Great resource! It even provides a China Travel Guide for traveling with children when planning a trip. Many resources on Chinese culture. http://www.china-family-adventure.com/index.html

Thank you for sharing, Cecilia. I took a look that website because, who isn't interested when you read the word adventure? I know you mentioned it would be a great resource for primary grades, which I completely agree but it got me thinking of how to incorporate something fun like this with my high schoolers. I found two possible uses for the site and would be interested in any feedback or bouncing of ideas. 1. I was thinking that when I cover our Chinese unit in World History I can help differentiate for my ELs by choosing specific hyperlinks to read because they are manageable. 2. My school is very close to Chinatown and the Chinese New Year celebrations are a big deal. I think that I can provide them with other historical documents that are a bit more rigorous and then have them look up different aspects of celebration on this awesome website you found.
