Hi, i do not attend ucla so i wont be able to make it to the orientation. I know you attached a copy of what you guys will be going over during the orientation but i couldnt open the file. Do you think u can attach it on the forum? Also through this orientation is this that "end of april" packet that we should be receiving.... Thanks..
Hi Folks, It was great to meet many of you at the orientation today. You have a wonderful summer ahead of you. Prof. Huters is uniquely prepared to discuss globalization from Chinese perspectives.
UCLA students may apply for a Freeman Global Institute Scholarship. The form is attached. The application deadline is 5 pm, May 31 and no late applications will be considered. Those awarded Freeman Scholarships will receive $2,000.

Attached to this message is the revised syllabus for the General Studies 110a course. Please stop by Course Reader Materials (or call them -- the number is on the syllabus) to pick up a copy of the readings for the beginning of the course. Other readings will be made available in Shanghai. Books for the course can be found in many bookstores and online shops.
