Our tsunami website includes a list of reputable aid agencies. It will soon also feature a list of Asian NGOs which are even more likely to address locally-felt needs. The site also includes original coverage from AsiaMedia contributors in the region.

The American Institute of Philanthropy has created a list of organizations accepting tsunami relief funds. Beside the link to each one is the Institute's efficiency "grade" (the share going to relief projects).

There are so many natural disasters occurring constantly in the world, and relief has to be sent to so many different places, either national or internationally.
The news have to report the most updated catastrophes, and there are so many of them, that we start forgetting the old ones, although people that lost home or loved ones might still be in need.
There have been tsunamis, volcanoes, earthquakes in places I never imagined, gigantic forest fires and more, all one after the other and in some cases almost at the same time.

I found an interesting website called Relief Web, that keeps track of the worlds disasters:

In places such as China, a natural disaster could affect more people due to the population density. To see what is happening in China and what is needed and the efforts being made, we can see:

one of the latest: The floods.
