As interesting as the lecture was about the Wu Family Shrines I was a little lost. Professor Liu seemed to presume prior knowledge of the stones on our part. That aside, this ancient work was quite interesting and very intricate. Unfortunately, it's hard to describe the stones and other works here. Thanks to Reza, we did get an insight to the process of "rubbings". Another part of the lecture that I found interesting is how the intellectual community deals with changing interpretations (or doesn't deal with them).

I was fascinated but a little lost as well. The rubbings were especially interesting.
