During our winter break, an article was published by a reporter who was interested in doing stories on the people who used to live along Central Avenue during the 1950's, post WWII, when the area was mostly African American. Somehow, the reporter found my mother-in-law, interviewed her, and the result was an article that talked about my husbands grandparents, how they met in Japan, were married, had my mother-in-law, and all of the "stuff" that came along with it during that time in history.
