    The Chinese Professional Baseball League will be having their All Star game on July 8th-9th in Taiwan. I reached out to the league on this and other games while we are out there if anybody is interested. I have been to baseball games in Korea and Japan and they were a blast. Hopefully we can be at the right place at the right time, in any event let me know.

    Enclosed is the response from the baseball league 

    Hi, During that time, All-star game will hold at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium. The ticket information will be announced in the middle of May. Also, season games will be played during July 10th to the 12th.
    July 10th in Taoyuan
    July 11th in Xinzhuang(New Taipei City)
    July 12th in Taoyuan and Xinzhuang (New Taipei City)

    The game will all start at 18:35. You can buy ticket at the stadium. Outfield seats are all NT200.

    Hi Folks,

    We talked a bit about baseball in Taiwan during the orientation. Anyone remember the name of the NY Yankees pitcher? Can anyone name any current major leaguers from Taiwan?

    I had to look up the name again...but the Yankees pitcher was Chien Ming-Wang.

    And looks like there are 9 current or active MLB players from Taiwan in the league right now. I thought this current list was interesting as it sounds like players from Taiwan only joined the league after the year 2000. Curious if there was a reason for that???
