This is one side of my classroom.
The Chinese Culture Club students (we are going to change the name of the club to Asian Cultures Club)
are thinking on transforming this area into a mini garden. For this we wood need benches, planters, plants, soil and perhaps some bird houses (with bird food) to hang on the fence. There is a gate and I can have this area locked to avoid vandalism and open it only during the club meetings.
We are right now selling candles for a previous project but the profits don't seem to be piling up as high and as fast as we have wished, I'm afraid he kids could get discouraged.

    Please give me ideas.

Are there official letters that can be sent to the community? who is good at donating lets say... benches?
As many of us are willing to do, I will come and work during Saturdays or stay after school taking care of our garden... but we need the garden first.

    Please offer your suggestions,
    your ideas,
your solutions and feel free to design a sketch to motivate my club members if you know how to draw

    The area is I would say 6 x 40
