This is a big and yet small film. It deals with the largest social experiment ever, China's family planning program, and is often told from a very close, personal perspective. Filmmaker Nanfu Wang returns to her family's home with her newborn and explores her family's experiences with the program. It is intense and revealing. You can watch it via Amazon Prime Video.
