Admittedly, my knowledge of Chinese instruments is limited and the songs shared by Sheila Melvin and Jindong Cai made me want to explore some introductory resources on Chinese instruments. I was able to find a few websites that each explore the topic, but none based on China with extensive educational resources.

Discovering the east of China: Chinese music in Elementary School

The website that I did find based in China is Chinese Music page through the china.org.cn and I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that under a lot of the travel pages, there are a ton of very informative primary resources on Chinese music. They do seem a little limited in scope (lack of videos, external links,etc) compared to some of the other websites above, but serve as a great starting point for educating folks on Chinese instruments.
