Little Buddha starring Keanu Reeves had received mixed reviews.  Of course, the movie dramatized many parts of Siddhartha Guatama’s life for theatrical purposes, but overall, I still think it was a good movie.  The director included Siddhartha’s lavish life as a young prince and then his journey to enlightenment.  The cinematography was beautiful.  Scenes in Indian were done lavishly and rich in color.   It also depicts Siddhartha’s teaching of the Four Noble Truths.  I would show parts of the movie, like the early years of Siddhartha’s life, his journey to nirvana, and the teachings of the Four Noble Truths.  Showing these short clips will hopefully increase engagement and also supports students who are visual and auditory learners.
