The following link is the Manzanar film gallery. In my US history class, I like having students do "Gallery Walks" to engage with historical photos or reading materials. Usually I post photos, or have Chromebooks with PPT. slides set around the room. The students are asked a discussion prompt at each station, at the end of the gallery walk, we have a whole class discussion. This website link will be helpful to help students understand the realities of Manzanar and help them to create a personal connection with the content. I also do a WWII museum with material that was donated to our school, this could be added to that museum.

Other than the specific photos, I feel that museum websites are always helpful for students. This website does a nice job of providing context, the history and curriculum for teachers to access to effectively teach about Manzanar. I would recommend this website to any teachers who teach US history at the secondary level.
