I am a Secondary Art Educator and often teach sections of Introduction to Art, Drawing, Life Drawing, and AP Art. Students are usually interested in Anime, Magna, and Animation. Most students have seen a Studio Ghibli film as a child and often look back on them with fond memories. I came across this web article that showcases some of the spaces at the Ghibli Museum, which has a strict no photo policy. Through this website you are able to tour some of the museum spaces virtually. There is a lot of attention to detail, and beautiful illustrations that relate back to the Ghibli films. This might be a great way to start conversations about designing spaces for urban planning and development, and how the arts are used to make spaces more inviting to community members.
