Art Escapes: Virtual Tours Through Asia

This website would be a great resource for art classes as well as history classes.  It allows for students to explore different videos showcasing art from China, Japan, Korea and many other places in Southeast Asia.  I found the video "Contemporary Art Anew" to be particularly impactful. It focuses on international artists like Chanel Miller who are bringing contemporary pieces to the public.  The contemporary art that is showcased in the video helps to make connections between the museum and the streets.  The site features videos that describe some of the art present at the museum.  This would be cool to take students on a physical field trip to see the pieces in person, and the use the website to learn more about specific pieces that they will view at the museum before attending.
