    Educator Open House: Night Out at the Museum

    October 29, 2014, 3:30-7:00 pm | John M. Lee Court

    Discover how the museum is an extension of your classroom and connects to Common Core standards. General and special educators, administrators, homeschool teachers, college and university faculty, and student teachers are cordially invited to view our permanent and special exhibitions with our knowledgeable Docents. Special preview of China's Lost Civilization: The Mystery of Sanxingdui and art classes for pre-K – grade 16. Priority booking for school tours and art classes. Scholarship information available.

    Teachers receive:

    Free curricular & instructional resources to prepare your students for their visit to the museum
    Hands-on art projects
    Free raffles for Bowers memberships, school tours, art classes and busing transportation

    FREE Admission (food and refreshments provided)

    The Japanese American National Museum will have a free admissions all day (11-4) on December 13th. There will be holiday-themed crafts and activities for the whole family.

    January 4, 2015 free all day too to celebrate the Year of the Sheep!
