    The Korea Society invites applications from American educators to participate in the ninth annual Spring Fellowship in Korean Studies program, to be held in Korea from March 27– April 7, 2013. The program includes lectures and discussions on topics of current interest, guided tours, and opportunities for on-site study in locales of historic and contemporary relevance in Korea. It is made possible by financial support from the Freeman Foundation and the Academy of Korean Studies.

    ELIGIBILITY
    Applications are welcomed from anyone who qualifies under one or more of the following criteria:1) administrators of instructional resources in a state department of education2) K-12 educators who have enrolled in two or more of the in-service educational programs offered by The Korea Society
    3) alumni/ae of The Korea Society’s Summer Fellowship in Korean Studies program, provided they have not visited Korea under the auspices of an organized study tour for at least the last three years. Preference will be given to applicants whose statement of purpose best matches the eligibility criteria for the category in which they are applying.     Wow, this sounds like a very interesting study tour. I truly wish I could attend. However, I plan on going with LAUSD's Teach American History program to Boston in June 2013. My regrets.
