The strength of this lesson plan lies in the structure that your "GRAPES" format provides for special needs students. If it is okay with you, I am going to forward this lesson to a colleague who is just starting to work with special needs/ELL kids. He could use some of these structures and rubrics in his own classroom.

Attached is a lesson plan for a 7th grade class of students with Special Needs. They will be filling out a graphic organizer on the GRAPES of China.
