During the Chinese New Year my class always learns about the Zodiac calendar. This site provides the years, animals and characteristics of each animal on the zodiac calendar. The website can be found at this link:

It also has the ancient myth of how each animal was assigned to the cycle of years and has some great clip art to use with your students. I plan on using this site as a resource as we celebrate Chinese New Year in our classroom. My students always love to find out what animal they are and the characteristics of their animal.

Great website! Thanks for sharing. Will definitely be using this in my classroom during Chinese New Year.

Quick side note: I was born in the year of the dog and the description fits me to a T!
