As I am doing my own website research, I am reviewing the websites that my classmates have reviewed in order to get Ideas of what is out their and maybe I can use in my teaching. I like the videos, I can show them to my students. They are the type of videos that do not need a road map to understand, elementary students can easily follow along. I really like how easy it is for me to understand the information and then teach it to my students. This website has a section that also helped me understand how the asian history relate to my students today. My students made a connection between how the Song Dynasty and their parents cooked rice and the pots they used. I enjoyed this website.

While I was searching for websites that were related to East Asia, most of what I found seemed like newspapers, etc. This site, though, has information for teachers who would like to teach more about Asia in their classrooms. There are timelines, primary sources, and online museum resources. The website is searchable in all of the areas, and is geared towards students and teachers. There are printables and maps, and lessons (oh my!). Sounds like a good place to also supplement what we know and have learned from this Institute.
    The website is as follows:
