A Web resource I would recommend for teachers of 7th Grade World History would be “Asia for Educators” from the East Asian Institute at Columbia University. This website has a plethora of resources that would integrate well with the 7th Grade curriculum. The resources are organized by category (geography, art, religion, and language) as well as time period. There are links to lesson plans, videos, images and maps as well. This website would be a great teaching tool for topics such as the Silk Road, the Great Wall and the geography of China.
