This website will be very helpful for me since I teach Ancient China in my Social Studies curriculum. The resources are organized by each time period. As I scroll through, there are many primary sources from real artifacts that can be used to teach about a specific part of Ancient China. For example, the website includes real inscriptions on oracle bones in the Shang Dynasty. From these inscriptions, the students can have a clearer picture on what oracle bones were used for and what their significance was during that time period. I also noticed that it has Selections from Mencius, one of the people that we learned about during our seminars. I am excited to use these lesson plans in my classroom this upcoming school year!
