    Hi Folks,

We always love it when teachers encourage students to dig into Asia's remarkable past. We're pleased to note that several students took prizes for their efforts at the recent Los Angeles County History Day competition.

History Day -- unofficial site: http://www.historydayla.org/ ; official site: http://historydayla.lacoe.edu/ (includes a video with an overview of what the aims and activities of History Day are).
