Thanks for sharing this website!! I just looked at the Chinese counting from 1 to 12 found at this link:

    http://kids.asiasociety.org/languages/count-chinese

As a Kindergarten teacher my students are working on numbers from 1-12 right now. I plan on using this beautifully illustrated counting book to teach my students how to verbally count in Chinese and also how to write the characters for the numbers 1-12. The illustrations of the counting book will also reinforce number value with my students.

    Great website!!!

http://kids.asiasociety.org/ is another great website for teachers. There are stories from Asia, language lessons, games , arts and more. Though maybe geared for younger audiences, there is plenty here for older ones, and for teacher ideas about Asia. Not all parts worked on my iPad, it may need Adobe Flash.

Great ideas for lesson plans! I like the variety this website has to offer. It gives me good ideas as a teacher on lesson extensions. I am in the process of setting up a computer center in my class and this is a very good website for students to explore to help them understand Asian culture. I will definitely put it on my list of websites for students to explore during their small group time on the computers.
