The Chinese Historical Society of Southern California's website is all about the education and preservation of Chinese history in California. This website is a great resource to gain knowledge on the impact Chinese people have had and continue to have in this country.  You can learn about tours that will take you to different historical sites in California, finding meeting and program information for conferences, the work they do to preserve landmarks, research and publications, youth education, scholarships, annual community building dinner programs, festivals, and community networking. There are links to many different resources to read about the historical details of Chinatown which are pretty fascinating and the a glimpse into the catalog of artifacts that CHSSC protects. There is also a link to shop for different books and resources directly from their site and a link to the various Chinese history museums throughout California.
