I came across a brochure for a performance put on by the Divine Performing Arts (www.DivineArts.org), and it looks really interesting. From the brochure: "Celebrate the Chinese New Year with a magical experience. It's traditional Chinese culture as it was meant to be - a brilliant blend of beauty, energy, and grace. Dozens of dancers in dazzling costumes move in seamless, flowing patterns. Thunderous drums shake the stage, while spectacular backdrops take you to another world." If you're interested, they will be at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium from December 30 - January 4. More info at http://www.LAspectacular.com.

The Chinese Spectacular in Pasadena has an admission charge. It sells out every year.
