I would like my students to read one book from an approved book list, fiction or non-fiction, in my 10th grade World History class during their studies of East Asia. It is a work in progress. If you would like to contribute to it, please add a title and the author and re-attach it. Please make any comments about reading level, content, and/or appropriateness.

Thank you for any help you wish to contribute!

Three Days Promise by Donald Chung is a great novel that recollects the experiences of a Korean war veteran from childhood to adulthood. It captures well the experience of a Korean refuge making their way from the north to southern part of Korea. In addition it is a very sentimental and a heartfelt read that captures topics of separation and reunification.
