So I clicked on the website and I started to play the China Game and it was pretty hard. It asked me questions about China's history and geography so unfortunately I am not to familiar with that and did not get to far. I think this game would only be for elementary students if you were a native and familiar with the history at a young age. I think it could work for middle and high school students depending on their knowledge level. Also the other activities are very interactive that reinforce the history. Thanks for the post. Good resource to use.

This website is created by the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University. This is an excellent resource. It has organized units for China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. This site is extremely easy to use because the plans for each country are accessed through a main tab at the top of the page. Additionally, it has been a bit challenging to figure out how to create lessons for 2nd grade students. Much of the content we covered in class seemed to be geared toward older students. This site has a section for elementary resources. It suits my needs perfectly. This site it going to be pivotal in my building of a week long unit for my students. I had already planned on embedding elements of Asia into a geography lesson since we tend to focus on communities and geography in 2nd grade. This site has games, maps, lesson plans and videos.

Thank you for posting this! I teach 6th and 7th grade, I know that it saw elementary resources but I really feel I could adapt these or use these for my purposes. I am always looking for new maps to integrate into teaching, I feel like students have a very difficult time with maps. I really feel like this is a great place to start!
