    As China is on its quest for modernization and becoming a leader in industrialization there are some unavoidable consequences for those who are seeking their stake in the race to the top. These lesson plans explore how the drive to economic success has unintended consequences.  We also explore similarities between age-old impacts for Chinese people then and now and current events. History repeating itself happens more often than not, and we have more in common than we think.
