Thank you for posting about the course offering! In addition, the Getty Center has an upcoming gallery about China's Silk road which will be replicating three caves from the Mogao Grottoes called "Cave Temples." This exhibit will be at the Getty Center at 1200 Getty Center Drive, Brentwood, from May 7th until September 4th, according to the LA Times. From the article, this gallery appears to be amazing and has been evolving and created over the past ten years or so. It will showcase 2,000 years of artwork which most people would not otherwise be able to admire in person. I am very much looking forward to this exhibit about northwestern Chinese artwork!

The Getty Center will be offering China as a Center: Journeys of Power and Belief Saturday June 4, 2016 from 2-5pm. An advance ticket is required and the fee is $35. From their description: "Explore the many historical links between Europe and China, from Silk Roads to the porcelain trade, and from Buddhist monasteries to regal courts with curator Bryan C. Keene and educators Christine Spier and Andrew Westover..."
