Professor Shin's presentation was very enlightening. I never really understood the negative comments I've heard from my Korean father about Korea until I heard his presentation. The problems that South Korea has experienced don't make headlines in the way that North Korea has. I think that in the media, South Korea has often been portrayed as the happy, good twin and North Korea as the evil,dark twin.
