    I chose to do my curriculum project based on a visit to the Japanese Gardens at the Huntington Library.  I felt that my 4th graders would enjoy the amazing natural scenery while learning about the beautiful elements of the Japanese Gardens.  My lessons are focused around poetry and art. The culminating lesson consists of my students enjoying and appreciating each others creations by doing a gallery walk.  The gallery walk would be done with the purpose of my students writing a final reflective essay about their experience,
