I like the homepage of the site "If It Were My Home" It begins with such thought-provoking questions asking about who you would be if, you by chance, were born in another country. Very interesting...

After looking at the other links, Ii noticed that I reviewed a site that another person did so I decided to write another review for a different site. Again, I am looking for something that I can use in either my World Geography or Economics class and came across this site, http://www.ifitweremyhome.com/
It has most of information derived from the CIA Factbook which I considered reviewing also, but the information here is easily accessible. What I liked about this site is that you can compare any two countries with another. A very versatile site, especially with a geography class. It has an overlay of maps so you the visual comparisons and then basic facts about the two countries. Very easy to navigate, and easy to establish questions for a teacher to use and for students to find. One can play around with all the countries and make it pretty much match anything you would like to compare. Not sure that you can get much for an elementary class, but still simple to use
