    There are several events open to the public. Thing that students can go to.

    One of my students wants to be a designer, and there is an oportunity for her to see an exhibit called "The Splendor of Asia"

    as their website describes it:

    "This event is organized for a wonderful opportunity for all of us to share and exchange our deep beautiful preserve the rich traditions of Japan & Korean costume and introduce both countries culture to the other communities."

    will provide Coffee & Snacks - Breakfast and Lunch

    Admission is free but seat is limited (r.s.v.p only)

    Wonderful opportunity. I was so excited and wanted to partipate but there is a scheduling conflict with Dube's workshop @ UTLA 🙁

    There is also a five-day workshop from July 7th-11th. Details are at http://www.koreaacademy.org. I attended last year and found it extremely well-organized, highly informative and a very worthwhile experience.
