Those pictures are amazing! It is as if you were there! It renews my desire to travel again, particularly to explore East Asia.
    Thanks

I'm on the road in Kunming and wanted to share a picture from a corn salesman.

    Very nice perspective shot!
While you're there, is it possible to get some "man on the street" kind of input about what the average Chinese are thinking about America's scheduled naval maneuvers this summer with the Taiwanest??? If you're able to read it while you're there, I posted the article from the LA Times on the public forum with your one on the internet.
I've been taking a website for photographers class at Santa Monica this summer and have been quite busy learning Dreamweaver...the better to do my site for E.Asia too.//LS

very nice pic-feels like the viewer is "there"---did u eat the corn?
also curious, did he serve the corn with any kind salt, sauce, or?

was he using propane or coal to boil the water?[Edit by="cforfar on Aug 18, 7:49:35 PM"][/Edit]

    Hi Clay,

Great photo! Reminded me of the corm salesman down the street from my house. If I were to show that picture to my students, I believe they would be very familiar to the image. It might be a good way to show that people on the other side of the world are not so different agter all.
