The 3-part lesson plan I've chosen surrounds a series of excerpts from Lessons For Women by Ban Zhao. Students will take prior knowledge of cultural diffusion and relate it to the excerpts they've been assigned for reading prior to coming to class.
Students will discuss how women’s roles were affected by cultural diffusion as it specifically relates to religion (Confucianism), politics and social structures in China, Korea & Japan.
