I looked at numerous East Asian websites. I went with the one I had lots of experience with, JapanSociety.Org. I've had such history with Japan that I was definitely drawn to this website repeatedly. They have a video on their website about changing Tokyo architecture from 1964 to the 2020 Olympics. I find that this website gives me numerous opportunities to use East Asia in the classroom. They have articles that I can use for creating inferences as well as articles for discussion. As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy their videos as well. I teach Special Education in a general education classroom. I need to find things that can work for all students, including the Special Ed. students. They have a section to do traditional Japanese activities for kids of varying ages. One of the main reasons I like this website is because of the educational section sharing actual activities and workshops for the classroom. I like to get kids on their feet and many of these workshops they have can be recreated for my classroom as well. It really does make it easier to create a valuable lesson plan for many different age groups or ability levels. I also enjoyed the NEA.org website, which has a more East Asian classroom variations outside of Japan.
