The Korea JoongAng Daily is a newspaper associated with the New York Times.  This newspaper is written in English and for the Korean population.  It was started in the year 2000.  It's main focus of the newspaper is to inform people in America about Korea's politics, economy, culture and current issues.

I will be able to use this website in my AP Spanish Language and Culture course.  Yes, although the course is taught in Spanish and about Spanish culture, and the website in in English and about Korea, I will be able to use it.  It is very easy to nativagate and students will not have any issues using it as a resource.  One of the skills that is required in the Andvanced Placement courses for World Language is to be able to present a cultural presentation in which they have to compare and contrast two countries.  Student will be given the opportunity to choose on of the following topics: Global Challenges, Beauty and Aesthetics, Families and Communities, Personal and Public Identities, Contemporary Life and Science and Technology.  After they choose the topic, students will be instructed to use the website to research a current issue on the choosen topic.  Students will have to do the same for a Spanish Speaking country.  Once students conduct their investigation they will deliver an oral presentation to the class.
