know we were asked to come to the last session, (12), with an idea of what we may do for our lesson and share out. However, because it was such an interesting discussion and much to cover we ran out of time to share our ideas. For my lesson plan I’m thinking I may include a mini cooking lesson with my students. My students like to eat and their favorite subject is science /health because I we often prepare a healthy snack or a simple recipe. So I think maybe I will show them how to make eggrolls, I’m sure they may like the idea and mainly the tasting of the food.
I also thought of teaching them Origami, but first I will have to learn it. I read and heard that making a Crane is easy, but after reading a couple of reviews on the website, it seems kind of difficult. But that does not mean we can’t try.
I know for a fact that at the Japanese Museum in L.A., they show you how to make a simple origami piece of art, so maybe I will head over there to learn how to make a simple project so that I can teach my students. These are just a couple of ideas that come to mind. There are many ideas that come to mind, but I have to bear in mind that some of my students have mobility issues that the aforementioned ideas may not be suitable for them. So I definitely would have to modify the assignments for those students.
