To those of us in LS 1, (i think there's three of us), please post whatever information you find out about the details of what we're going to have to do here. this is merely so that we can communicate our findings.
just a note: may 16th (the date of the SECOND midterm) is ALSO on a monday. its rly early to bring this up and its not nearly as urgent as midterm #1, but just to let you guys know, we're gonna have problems then too.
    gl to all of us

oh yea, also, just an update on my part. so far i have sent emails to professor thomas and mark gray (ls core contact). my roommate expressed a belief that prof. thomas might just redirect us to him, since this may be out of his 'jurisdiction'. therefore i sent emails to both at the same time hoping to get the issue resolved faster.
i asked both on their opinions on our matter. if things are not resolved, the last resort would be of course to talk with Clay and tell him that we have no other choice. i made it clear in both emails that that would have to be a last resort, however.[Edit by="afang on Apr 18, 7:31:36 PM"][/Edit]

I emailed Professor Thomas, and he said that I could come in and start the MT at 6pm-8pm (allocating a total of two hours). I hope that he had said the same thing to you.

    alright, thanks for the information.
i myself have gotten a reply from thomas and i'll post the sum of it all for everyone in our class that has this confliction:
Thomas has allowed an alternative midterm for us (and maybe a few others?) at 6pm on monday. instead of meeting in the ordinary room, he has called to come to LS 2305.
[email protected] i think is his email; if you are one of us please email him directly (not the other guy) and tell him you'd wish to take this alternative midterm. provide your name and UID in the email. he's a really nice guy; i assume all you have to do is ask
