After watching a Chinese film about a famous modern Chinese poet, I attempted to find some of her poetry translated into English. It was surprisingly challenging to find.

However, in my search, I came across a useful website run by Ohio State University. It is the Modern Chinese Literature and Culture website, which houses a scholarly journal titled Modern Chinese Literature (MCLC Journal). On the site, there are links to current scholarly articles on modern Chinese literature such as an article titled What is a Reader? Participation and Intertextuality in Hand-Copied Entertainment Fiction from the Chinese Cultural Revolution.  The website also has an extensive bibliography where you can look for literature, film, music, etc. by theme or topic. Lastly, there is a web publication section that has actual works attached including short stories, interviews, articles, etc. This section was convenient because it provides the actual work, rather than just the title of the work. The works are organized by publishing year.
