The Metropolitan Museum of Art is an amazing resource for art history. The only downside to this website is that it is a bit overwhelming. You can search for art history by region, era, or by artifact. There is a tremendous amount of Asian art that is divided further by region: China, Japan, Korea and SE Asia. Many teachers struggle to find time to include art in their history classes. It would be easy to create a web quest from this website so that students could explore on their own in a computer lab setting or as homework. In addition, the Metropolitan Museum of Art also has classes, tours, educator programs, lesson plans, educator publications and a Facebook page. Anyone who is planning a trip to New York City, should plan to visit this amazing museum. If not, the website is a great resource.

Here is a free download of a teacher publication on Korean art and history http://www.metmuseum.org/en/learn/for-educators/publications-for-educators/~/media/Files/Learn/For%20Educators/Publications%20for%20Educators/korea.ashx
In addition, I mentioned web quests above. The world history blog http://worldhistoryeducatorsblog.blogspot.com/ posted a web quest of Qin/Han for world history teachers a few days back. https://sites.google.com/site/qinhanachievements/qin-han-achievements
This web quest was created this summer by a world history teacher. It has handouts, links and video already completed for your use. Check it out!
The number one resource for world history teachers is the world history blog! http://worldhistoryeducatorsblog.blogspot.com/ Teachers who have not signed up, do it NOW! Everyday you get an email update but 99% of what is posted is useful in the classroom.
