This is a website within Columbia's Asia for Educators website http://afe.easia.columbia.edu/. (Which is amazing!) The Mongols in World History website has primary source readings, art, and maps for use in the classroom. It describes key leaders, the Mongols in China, and conquests of the Mongols. It includes excerpts of Marco Polo's book as well as readings discussing the controversy of Marco Polo's claims of his travel to China. The website also has discussion questions and teacher resources available for use in the classroom. I highly recommend this website as well as Columbia's Asia for Educators website. They are great websites for teachers and for students who are completing research on Asia.
