This website is very easy to navigate. I like to play the radio quietly in my class because most students use it as a reminder to speak quietly. Some students just want to hear the music so it reinforces their activity to a more calm level. Playing K pop will definitely spark many students attention to listen as they are doing other task. This site also allows me access to more sources when implementing K pop music into instruction.

This may seem like a strange website suggestion, but my website review is for Big B Radio (http://bigbradio.net/kpop/). This is a radio station that plays Korea, Japanese, and Chinese Pop. The reason I am suggesting this website is because, I tend to play music in my classroom; therefore, using this website in the classroom would engage students and open the door for them to ask questions about Korean, Japanese, or Chinese music and culture. If you are interested in learning more about KPop artist or just want to keep up with your student’s interest and want to know what/who is in right now, the website has a “Top 20” list with the songs and artist names. Also, I could see myself using this website to get some ideas for songs that can be used as comparisons between Asian music styles (in general or you can choose one station to focus on), and/or as a comparison to our Pop music in the U.S. I think students would really enjoy comparing the music, and find that there are a lot of similarities between the Pop cultures. This music may also be great background noise in your classroom if you are tired of hearing the same music you always play. Some of the songs are really catchy!
