Like Kevin, I will also post my itinerary if any of you want to be on the same flights:
I will be flighting Quantas airline with TWO stops
- first i will leave LAX on June 21st for Sydney, Aust., there it will be a 3 hour stop
- then after Sydney, I will be leaving for Hong Kong and switching planes for Shanghai
- i am arriving in Shanghai on June 23rd (TWO days before the program starts)
** i am looking into a cheap hotel or hostel for the two nights before the program starts**
- when the program ends i m leaving on the 31st back to Hong Kong
... i do have to say that I am also planning on travelling in Australia for TWO weeks, and visiting a friends who is currently studying abroad in Sydney (that is why I am flying Quantas with the flights to and from Syndey)
In all the whole flight was about $1850 + tax, which isn't that bad. I went through the STA travel center, if you want to know! BUT, if anyone wants to accompany me or even want to travel and have a vacation in AUSTRALIA with me, they are MORE than welcome!!
