A few weeks ago, I was distraught over the news that in South Korea, the Nam-Dae Moon ( a historical relic) burned down into smithereens via arson. I was furious. First of all, it was one of the few national treasures of the country, built in 1392. It was something that I took for granted as always being there--now that it is gone, it feels...hollow. I just don't understand why people would commit such a senseless crime! I appreciate some comments about this. Thanks.
