The website is https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/world/
This website provides a lot of resources for students in a kid friendly version. It begins by showing a map of the world, where students can click on a certain country and learn more about it. Students can learn more about China, Japan, and South Korea. Each country profile has colorful pictures that depict everything from maps, historical monuments, to daily life in that particular country.
I like that it is organized in small paragraphs for students to be able to read and do research on their own. It includes topics like fast facts, nature, geography, people & culture, government & economy, and history. It is not too overwhelming with long readings, so this is perfect for the little ones. I will definitely use this with my kids when teaching the social studies unit "The Land Around Us."
