The National Education Association has gathered different resources and lesson plans to help teach about North and South Korea for a range of grade levels, but mostly focused on 6-12 grade. The resources are organized into different categories such as history, current events, maps, and videos. The lesson plans provide objectives, standards, materials, procedures, and assessments. It is very easy to navigate the website and find links to additional resources.

This website can be useful, especially during distance learning because teachers can share resources that students can access asynchronously and then have follow up discussion during synchronous meetings. There are also videos and images that teachers can share to have a discussion. One resource I could use with my third graders is the lesson plan "Korean Culture through Folk Tales." Although my third graders may not be ready to discuss Confucian philosophy, we could compare and contrast folktales and fables from different cultures.
