Orias has fantastic programs that support teacher education. The director of the program works out of the East Asia offices at UCBerkeley and often there are classes or resources in connection to Asia studies. They have a summer seminar every year and also support the Humanities West program http://humanitieswest.net/2018-2019-season/ giving teachers free tickets to see lectures by well-known professors in their field.  There are several online resources such as:

    1. Stages of the Hero's Journey - This is in connection with Joseph Campbells monomyth theory

    2. Ramayana  - dances/summary/slideshow

    3. The Travels of Ibn Battuta

You can also search or look back at previous summer seminars for more information. Note: That the food is excellent from local Berkeley businesses and the program director tells you what she ordered and why she chose that food for that particular day. It often connects with the theme of the seminar, but not always.
